European TV Drama Series Lab 2013 (Module 1: 2 - 7 July , 2013 and Module 2: 18 - 24 November , 2013): deadline 25 April 2013
The programme is designed for scriptwriters, producers and broadcasters and explores the essential elements of the successful drama series. Top industry experts from across Europe and the US share their knowledge and provide exclusive insights. The goal for Module 1 is to present and discuss the culture and market for TV Drama series in the United States and Europe that will assist in distilling systems and processes that can be applied to European TV production and creativity. Atelier de Production du GSARA (hulp bij (post)productie en promotie): deadline 24 mei
Opgericht in 1991 en erkend door de Federatie Wallonië-Brussel beoogt Atelier de Production Gsara te helpen bij de ondersteuning van de productie en promotie van documentairefilms. Ze helpen bij het introduceren van nieuw werk van nieuwe auteurs, en blijven terwijl projecten steunen van gevestigde filmmakers. Meer info hier.
BOOKLABS: eerste lab 26, 27 & 28 mei 2013 te Antwerpen
iDROPS, Boek.be en Uitgeverij van de Toekomst organiseren drie innovatieve boeken labs in Vlaanderen en Nederland. In BOOK LABS 2013 werpen we een licht op de toekomst van e-books en zoeken we naar nieuwe manieren om interactieve boeken te ontwikkelen. Voor wie? Good Pitch Europe 2013: 7 juni 2013 (invitation only)
Good Pitch Europe 2013 film project selection announced. On 7th June, 6 film teams will present their brilliant docs and their associated outreach campaigns to an invited group of European organisations – to form unique coalitions around each film to accelerate its social and political impact. De schrijfstoel
De schrijfstoel is een nieuw initiatief van VRT dat aan beginnende, getalenteerde scenaristen kortlopende schrijfopdrachten geeft. Met dit initiatief wil VRT actief nieuw schrijftalent ontdekken en begeleiden. De kandidaten doen praktische schrijfervaring op in een actieve productie-omgeving en kunnen hun talent tonen. Cartoon Forum | Digital | Connection | Finance | Movie
Onder de noemer Cartoon vinden ook dit jaar heel wat evenementen plaats. Cartoon Connection (10-13 december 2012) focust op de synergie tussen gaming bedrijven en animatieproducenten. Verder is er ook Cartoon Finance (13-15 november 2012) en Cartoon Movie (6-8 maart 2013).
